Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned Additional Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the State/opposite party no.1.
This application under section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Bhognipur, Kanpur Dehat to decide Criminal Case No.1842 of 2015 (State vs. Naveen and others) arising out of Case Crime No.133 of 2015, under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 IPC and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Bhognipur, district Kanpur Dehat, pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Bhognipur, Kanpur Dehat expeditiously.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant, the Judicial Magistrate, Bhognipur, Kanpur Dehat is directed to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously, preferably within a period of nine months fixing short dates, if there is no legal impediment.
It is further directed that the parties shall cooperate in the proceeding and no unnecessary adjournment will be sought/granted.
With the above observations, the application stands disposed of.
