Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition, reads thus:
"(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned the first information report dated 28.10.2017 in Case Crime No. 1487 of 2017, under section 363, 366, 120B I.P.C. and 7/8 POCSO Act, Police Station Kheta Sarai, District Jaunpur (Annexure no. 1 to this writ petition)."
Mr. Syed Ali Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that the investigating agency has filed a closure/final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 bearing no. 37 of 2017 dated 25 December 2017, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.
