Heard Shri Lalit Kumar Misra, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the State of U.P.
This writ petition has been filed for issue of mandamus and directing the competent authority to consider the claim and grievance of the petitioner and to decide the representation on merit and avoid the respondents not to mutate the name of purchaser of the land in dispute.
A perusal of the representation of the petitioner indicates that the petitioner, indirectly, wants a declaration that Mewa Lal is a insane person, which cannot be adjudicated by the authorities before whom the representation has been filed.
The petitioner has an alternative remedy to file an appropriate application before the District Judge concerned under the relevant Statutes.
The writ petition is disposed of on the ground of alternative remedy.
