The petitioner claims benefit under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojna.
It is the case of the petitioner that her claim is pending before the second-respondent (District Magistrate, Ballia), but no decision has yet been taken.
Considering the nature of the grievance disclosed in this petition as also the prayer made, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition by requiring the second-respondent to address and decide the claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing a copy of this order in his office.
It is made clear that we have not expressed any opinion with regard to the merit of the claim of the petitioner.
