Petitioners’ vehicle KL-60F-4398 and KL-60A-1739 have been seized on the allegation that the petitioners have violated the provisions under the Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1967. According to the petitioners, they are willing to compound the offence and seek indulgence of this Court for compounding.
Having regard to the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is disposed of as under:
Petitioners shall deposit an amount of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) each as compounding fee with the requisite applications before the 1st respondent and on receipt of such fee, the vehicles shall be released to the petitioners forthwith.
