JUDGMENT / ORDER

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up and disposed of at the stage of admission itself.
2. The petitioner has come to this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to forthwith fix the seniority in the post of Tamil Pandit w.e.f. 01.11.2008 as claimed in the representation dated 14.04.2017 before proceeding to redeploy Tamil Pandits working in the third respondent School to any other school.
3. The petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher by the third respondent on 20.06.2002 and subsequently, she was promoted as Tamil Pandit on 02.01.2016. The grievance of the petitioner is that she should have been promoted by the third respondent as Tamil Pandit in the first vacancy that arose on 01.05.2008 or in the second vacancy on 01.06.2008. In this regard, she submitted a representation dated 14.04.2017 before the respondents 2 and 3, seeking to fix her seniority in the post of Tamil Pandit from the date on which she was allowed to work as Tamil Pandit in the vacancy arose on 01.11.2008. But till date no orders have been passed and hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. Heard Mr.V.R.Rajasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who sought reasonable time to consider the representation made by the petitioner.
5. Considering the limit relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.04.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With this direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
