JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner in B.A. Nos.6556 and 6557 of 2014, is the first accused in Crime Nos.1889/2013 and 1890/2014 respectively, of the Panangad Police Station. Both the crimes are registered for the offences punishable under Sections 386 and 395 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner has been in custody for the period from 6.1.2014 onwards. 2. Read the common order dated 17.6.2014, passed by this Court, in B.A. Nos.3384 and 3389 of 2014. I am not once again dealing with the facts of the case as the facts have been in detail dealt with, in the aforesaid order passed in B.A. Nos.3384 and 3389 of 2014. It seems that the petitioner is the accused in 18 crimes of serious nature. The learned senior counsel has pointed out the cases in which the petitioner was acquitted.
B.A.6556 & 6557 of 2014 2
3. There is absolutely no change of circumstances in the matter. I am of the view that these applications seeking regular bail cannot be entertained and the petitioner is not entitled to be enlarged on bail in these cases. It seems that the matters are now pending for trial as sessions cases.
In the result, these applications are dismissed. At the same time, as the petitioner has been undergoing detention for the period from 6.1.2014 onwards, the concerned Sessions Court, where the matters are pending, is directed to dispose of the matters as expeditiously as possible by considering the fact that the petitioner has been in custody for long.
