1. Heard Sri Santosh Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Nagendra Srivastava, learned A.G.A. for the State.
2. This anticipatory bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant - Nazim @ Guddu, seeking anticipatory bail in Case Crime No.326 of 2016, under Sections -3/5A/8 Cow Slaughter Act, Police Station -Didoli, District -Amroha, during pendency of trial.
3. At the outset, learned AGA has raised a preliminary objection citing criminal history of 17 cases. Also, it is submitted that the FIR was lodged on 22.08.2016 and chargesheet submitted on 14.10.2016. At present, coercive measures have been adopted under Section 82 Cr.P.C.
4. In view of the preliminary objection raised, no interference is warranted.
5. Accordingly, the present application is rejected. However, in the event of regular bail application being filed at the appropriate stage, it is expected that the same may be decided as expeditiously as possible, without being prejudiced by any observation made in this order.
