Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing counsel.
The petitioners are seeking direction for the time bound disposal of their applications by which they have applied for stage carriage permits on different routes.
The applications are pending for considerable time before respondent no. 2 but probably no final decision has been taken.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, we dispose of the writ petition with the direction to respondent no. 2 to consider any application of the petitioners for stage carriage permit, if pending, and to decide it expeditiously in accordance with law within a period of two months.
The petition is disposed of.
