Mr. Mohammad Waseem, learned Advocate has filed his Vakalatnama along with short counter affidavit today, which is taken on record.
At the outset, learned A.G.A has pointed out that in view of the judgement of Apex Court in the case of State of Madhya Pradesh Vs. Laxmi Narayan and others, AIR 2019 SC 1296, the offence under Section 376 IPC, cannot be permitted to make compromise, as the same is an offence against the society at large.
In view of above, learned counsel for the applicants after advancing some argument at length submitted that he does not want to press this application and the same may be dismissed as withdrawn.
Accordingly, the application is dismissed as withdrawn.
