Petitioner's vehicle bearing registration No.KL-05-7661 has been seized as per Ext.P1 alleging that the petitioner's vehicle has been found with certain remnants of river sand. Ext.P1 is the mahazar.
2. Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to release the vehicle to the petitioner on executing a simple bond. It is made clear that this will not stand in the way of the second respondent in proceeding against the petitioner's vehicle under the Kerala River Bank and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act in accordance with law.
The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
