HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.16925 of 2014 ORDER:
The case of the petitioner is that he sold Ac. 0.65 cents of land in Survey No.59 B1B1 of Kadapa Shahar to Rasool Baig and his family members and received the required consideration. The Sale Deeds presented for registration was received and assigned P.Nos.37 to 43 of 2014. So far, the documents are not processed further and no communication was given to the petitioner regarding the status of the documents presented by the petitioner.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition may be disposed of by directing the Sub-Registrar to process the document.
3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Joint Sub-Registrar-I, Kadapa, YSR Kadapa District (2nd respondent) to process the Sale Deeds presented by the petitioner in accordance with the Registration Act, 1908 and the Indian Stamp Act, 1899. If there are reasons to refuse the document for registration, he shall assign the reasons and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to place additional material before the Joint Sub-Registrar in support of his claim. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
