JUDGMENT / ORDER

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO WRIT PETITION No.36269 of 2014 Between:
Nawab Mohd. Jameeluddin Khan PETITIONER AND
1. State of Telangana, rep. by its Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, Secretariat, Hyderabad, and another.
RESPONDENTS ORDER:
The petitioner herein sought for a Writ of Mandamus for declaring the action of the 2nd respondent, viz., Joint Collector-I, Ranga Reddy District, in keeping Case No.D5/3111/2011, dated 13.03.2011 pending for more than three years as bad in law and consequently sought for a direction to deal with the said case at the earliest.
2. At page-9 of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, I found a notice issued by the Joint Collector-I, Ranga Reddy District on 13.03.2011 indicating that suo motu revision, taken up under Section 9 of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattedar Pass Books Act, 1971, is posted for hearing on 21.04.2012. More than 2½ years time has elapsed.
3. Therefore, I deem it appropriate to direct the Joint Collector, Ranga Reddy District to take up the said case for hearing and decide the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
