ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in continuing to bill the petitioner’s service connection under HT category-II, instead of LT category-III, as illegal and arbitrary.
At the hearing, Mr. P. Anand Seshu, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, submitted that after field inspection, the petitioner’s service connection has been converted into LT category-III and notice, dated 12.12.2014, issued for payment of Rs.29,378/- was withdrawn, besides agreeing for adjustment of Rs.43,544/- paid by the petitioner towards the differential tariff in the future consumption bills.
In view of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous.
As a sequel, W.P.M.P.Nos.49918 & 49919 of 2014, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, are disposed of as infructuous.
