Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Nimai Dass, learned standing counsel for the State.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioner has surrendered his vehicle no. UP60-B-4116.
Subsequently the petitioner has also moved applications for cancellation of registration of his vehicle on 10.10.2013 & 04.12.2017 respectively as the petitioner has already sold the vehicle to scrap dealer.
In view of the above, it is directed that the authority concerned may pass appropriate orders on the applications of the petitioner after giving him an opportunity of hearing within a period of three weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is being placed before it. Certified copy of this order may be placed by the petitioner before the authority concerned within ten days from today. It is made clear that till orders are passed by the authority concerned, no coercive measures may be taken against the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of as above. No costs.
