National vs Jivabhai

The amount involved in this appeal is less than Rs.1,00,000/-. It has been the consistent practice of this Court not to entertain those appeals wherein the claims are small. Hence, without entering into the merits of the case, the appeal is not entertained only on the ground that they involve petty claim. The appeal stands disposed of accordingly. This order may not be treated as precedent in future cases since it has been passed on the smallness of the amount involved and not on merits.
