National vs Haresh

The amount involved in these appeals is less than Rs.1,00,000/-. It has been the consistent practice of this Court not to entertain appeals wherein the claims are small. Claims below Rupees One Lac have been quantified as petty claims by this Court. Hence, only on the ground that the appeals involve petty claims, they are not entertained and hence, stand rejected. This order may not be treated as precedent in other cases since it has not been passed on merits but, only on the ground of smallness of the amount involved.
