JUDGMENT / ORDER

By the impugned order dated 05.06.2017 in C.M.P.No.1063 of 2017 in Crime No.56 of 2017, the learned Principal Sessions Judge at Puducherry, granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner on certain conditions. One of the conditions is that the petitioner has to appear and sign before the Station House Officer, Town Police Station, Karaikal, twice daily at 10.00 a.m.and 5.30 p.m.from the date of her release on bail, without fail, until further orders. Now the present petition has been filed to issue a direction to modify the said condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Puducherry.
2. Mr.S.Tamilvanan, learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) took notice for the respondent.
3. Heard both the sides.
4. Since the petitioner being a lady, who is charged with offences under Sections 448, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC, and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the impugned order is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall surrender before the Court of Judicial Magistrate No.III, Puducherry within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties each for the like sum, to the satisfaction of the said Magistrate. On such appearance, she shall be granted bail. Further, the petitioner shall appear and sign before the Station House Officer, Mudaliarpet Police Station, Puducherry, the respondent herein, twice daily at 10.00 a.m., and 5.30 p.m., for a period of one week from the date of her release on bail, without fail. Thereafter, she shall appear before the respondent as and when required for interrogation. Rest of the conditions imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Puducherry, shall remain unaltered.
5. This petition is ordered accordingly.
