Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the State.
By way of the instant application, the applicant has prayed for a direction to the court below to decide the Criminal Complaint Case No.437 of 2014, under Sections 420, 467, 477, 406, 120B IPC and 138 of N.I. Act, P.S. Kotwali, District Jhansi, pending in the court of ACJM Ist, Jhansi, expeditiously.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that proceedings were initiated in the year 2014, but the same has not yet been completed.
Learned AGA has submitted that it is the bounden duty of the trial court to ensure expeditious disposal of the cases without incurring unnecessary delay.
I have considered the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the applicant and perused the record.
In view of above but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed off with direction to the court concerned to decide the aforesaid case within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order before it, if there is no other legal impediment.
Accordingly, this application is disposed of.
