JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioners' vehicles have been seized on the allegation of violation of Conservation of Paddy Land and Wet Land Act, 2008. According to the petitioners, the property is not paddy land. They had already obtained necessary permission for conversion and a building has been constructed in the property after obtaining necessary building permit. 2. Whatever be the factual situation, when proceedings had been initiated under the provisions of the Act, the petitioners will have to approach the appropriate authority for getting release of their vehicle. Under these circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of as under:
The 2nd respondent shall consider the claim of the petitioners and pass interim orders within two weeks and necessary final orders shall be passed within six weeks.
