THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING ORDER “The petitioner is the sole accused. He seeks for grant of bail.
He allegedly committed an offence under Section 307 IPC. The petitioner allegedly attempted to murder his wife.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent of the offence levelled against him.
Learned Additional Public Prosecutor pointed out that the petitioner was involved in yet another matrimonial offence under Section 498-A IPC on an earlier occasion.
Be that as it may, where the dispute would appear to be a matrimonial dispute, I consider it appropriate to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed. The petitioner is enlarged on bail on a personal bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties in a likesum each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada.”
