JUDGMENT / ORDER

This petition is filed to direct learned III Additional Family Judge, Chennai to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.661 of 2014 within a stipulated time.
2. The petitioner is the husband and the respondent is the wife. The petitioner filed H.M.O.P.No.661 of 2014 for divorce against the respondent and the same is pending before the III Additional Family Court, Chennai. The respondent filed counter only on 28.11.2016 and the H.M.O.P., is pending for enquiry from that date onwards without any progress. In the circumstances, the petitioner has come forward with this present civil revision petition for speedy disposal of H.M.O.P.No.661 of 2014.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, considering the limited prayer sought for in the civil revision petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the matter, I direct the III Additional Family Judge, Chennai to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.661 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
