With regard to the grievances of the petitioner, action be taken against an erring police officer who delayed of filing of charge-sheet and the accused was released on default bail as per provisions of Section 167(2) of the Code pursuant to the information received under Right to Information Act.
Joint Commissioner of Police, Sector 1, Ahmedababad City has already recommended Police Commissioner to take departmental action against the erring police officer. Inspite of more than three years, no further action is taken and in such an event, the concerned authority will pursue the recommendations made by the Joint Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad and appraise the petitioner about the action taken in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid, this petition is disposed of at this stage.
