JUDGMENT / ORDER

Learned advocate for the petitioner has submitted that the impugned orders in this petition have been passed pending decision of Criminal Case No. 1922 of 2008 arising out of I.CR. No. 457 of 2007 and earlier petition being Special Civil Application No. 16876 of 2011, which came to be withdrawn vide order dated 24.01.2012, therefore, the petitioner be granted liberty to approach the concerned authority with a fresh application in light of the development in the matter and authority be directed to consider it afresh without being influence by their earlier orders.
In view of this, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition at this stage with a liberty to file fresh in case of difficulty. Permission as sought for is granted. The matter is disposed of as withdrawn. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the authority for arm licence and if such an application is made, the same shall be decided as expeditiously as possible preferably within 6 months from the date of receipt of writ of this order, in accordance with law, without being influence by the earlier orders passed by the authority and the fact that this petition has been withdrawn. It would be open to the authority to come to its own conclusion on merits without being influence by earlier orders passed and withdrawal of this petition. Direct service permitted.
