High Court Of Judicature at Allahabad|27 April, 2018
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 34
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 30835 of 2014 Petitioner :- Narendra Singh Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- K.K. Chaturvedi,Nar Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Kashif Zaidi,Nisheeth Yadav
Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal,J. Hon'ble Bachchoo Lal,J.
1. Case called out. None appeared on behalf of petitioner. Sri Kashif Zaidi, learned counsel for the respondents is present. However, we ourselves have perused the record.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs :
"a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner for promotion of the post of Assistant Conservator of Forest and give all other consequential benefits.
b) Issue a writ order or direct the quashing the said advertisement for the post of Assistant Conservator of Forest at Adv. No. A-7/E-1/2013 on 20.12.2013."
3. However, we ourselves have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for the petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
