Heard the counsel for the petitioner.
The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a writ of mandamus directing the District Magistrate, Banda, i.e., respondent no. 2 to decide the fire arms license of the application of the petitioner dated 23.1.2019 for grant of single barrel gun license in favour of the petitioner.
Considering the circumstances of the case, the District Magistrate, Banda, i.e., respondent no. 2 is directed to decide the application of the petitioner within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid application.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
It is clarified that the Court has not expressed any opinion regarding the claim of the petitioner for grant of arms license.
