Heard the counsel for the petitioner and Shri Pradeep Singh, Advocate, representing the Gaon Sabha.
The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer to correct the revenue entries regarding Plot Nos. 591 and 592, which the petitioner alleges to be the Pond and Bheeta, but which in the revenue records have been entered in the name of respondent Nos. 4 to 6.
The power to correct the revenue entries lies with the Sub Divisional Officer on a report of the Tehsildar under Section 38 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.
In case, the petitioner files an application before the concerned Tehsildar under Section 38 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, the Tehsildar shall taken appropriate steps and submit a report before the Sub Divisional Officer, who shall act in accordance with law and complete the proceedings within a period of one year from the date of filing the application alongwith the copy of this order after giving the affected parties an opportunity of hearing.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
