Heard counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel.
By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 1- Board of Revenue, U.P. at Allahabad to decide Revision No. 41 of 2010-11, Naresh Pal Vs. Mahendra Pal Singh and others, within a stipulated period of time.
Contention of the learned counsel for petitioner is that the aforesaid revision is pending since the year 2010 and twice the judgment was reserved therein but it has not been decided as yet though a period of about eight years has already elapsed.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued upon respondent no. 1- Board of Revenue, U.P. at Allahabad to decide Revision No. 41 of 2010-11, Naresh Pal Vs. Mahendra Pal Singh and others , in accordance with law expeditiously within six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
