JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 34
Case :- WRIT - C No. - 7220 of 2018 Petitioner :- Naresh Kumar Sharma Respondent :- State Of U.P And 04 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Bhanu Pratap Dhakray,Jitendra Pal Singh Chauhan Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal,J. Hon'ble Shashi Kant,J.
1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioner. Hence we ourselves have perused the record and proceed to decide the matter after hearing learned Standing Counsel.
2. Petitioner executed a lease deed in favour of respondent no. 4 – Bharat Petroleum corporation Limited for a period of 20 years on 28.01.1998. Admittedly, lease has expired and thereafter grievance of petitioner is that premises should be vacated.
3. That being so, remedy lies in common law. Writ petition does not lie in that regard.
4. Writ petition lacks merit. Dismissed.
