JUDGMENT / ORDER

Manjula Chellur,CJ
There seems to be some dispute with regard to conversion of land by 4th respondent who purchased the same from the son of the petitioner. According to petitioner, on earlier occasion he approached learned Single Judge in W.P.C.No.28080 of 2011 and learned Single Judge directed the Revenue Divisional Officer to dispose of the complaint. Because of such complaint lodged by the petitioner, according to him, 4th respondent is intending to do away with the life of the petitioner by engaging goondas, as informed to him by his friend Krishna Kumar. Therefore, he approached Police and lodged a complaint. According to him, Police have not taken the complaint seriously. Therefore, he is before this Court.
W.P.(c) No.12394 of 2014 2
2. Learned State Attorney submits, Mr.Krishna Kumar, friend of petitioner, was summoned to the police station who informed the police for not passing such information to petitioner. Even otherwise, if the petitioner was apprehending danger to his life, he has already informed the same to the police. But looking to the grounds of writ petition his grievance seems to be with regard to the property being purchased by 4th respondent and converting the land from paddy land to otherwise.
3. In the light of above observations, we are of the opinion, if really genuine threats are held to petitioner, the respondent police shall look into the same and do the needful.
This writ petition is disposed of as above.

P.R.RAMACHANDRA MENON,
