The petitioner complains that his daughter is under the illegal detention of the second respondent. The apprehension is shown to be not correct in view of the fact that the alleged detenue and the second respondent have appeared. They are married. Their marriage is certified in terms of the Kerala Registration of Marriages (Common) Rules, 2008. The parties are Hindus. There is a ceremonial marriage in a temple. Thus, there is a valid marriage. We interacted with the alleged detenue. We also interacted with the second respondent. We are sure that though they belong to different castes in the Hindu religion, they have the confidence to go ahead and live in a manner where they will get their parents also along with them. With this, we see no W. P. (Crl.) No.484 of 2014 -2-
ground to issue any order as sought for.
Writ petition is closed.
