ORDER R. DEVDAS J., (ORAL):
The petitioner who is working as Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) is before this Court being aggrieved by the impugned transfer order dated 20.02.2019. During the course of the proceedings, the learned counsel for the petitioner had submitted before this Court that the petitioner is aggrieved because the impugned transfer order has been passed during the middle of the academic year and it would be difficult for the petitioner to shift to the transferred place and therefore made a request to this Court. The petitioner was permitted to make a representation to the respondent seeking consideration of the representation of the petitioner sympathetically and enable the petitioner to continue at the present position till the end of the academic year.
2. At the instance of this Court, the respondent has passed an Official Memorandum dated 01.04.2019 permitting the petitioner to continue in the present post till 31.05.2019. The Official Memorandum dated 01.04.2019 has been placed on record along with a memo dated 02.04.2019.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the relief sought for by the petitioner has been granted and the grievance of the petitioner has been remedied.
4. In view of the above, the impugned order dated 20.02.2019 having been superseded the Official Memorandum dated 01.04.2019 and the impugned order dated 20.02.2019 at Annexure-G is not given effect to. Therefore, there is no need to quash the same.
In that view of the matter, this petition stands disposed of.
