Petitioners have approached this Court seeking a mandamus to commands the respondents to decide the representation made by the petitioners dated 29.0.1.2018 in the light of the Government Order dated 29.09.2015.
It has been alleged that the land of the petitioners was declared surplus, however they continue to be in actual possession over the said land and as such entire proceedings stand abated and the name of the petitioners are likely to be restored back in the revenue record.
Considering the facts and circumstances, we dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent no. 2-Collector/District Magistrate, Kanpur Nagar to consider and decide the representation made by the petitioners by means of a reasoned and speaking order after looking into the record within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
