(BY SRI CHETAN DESAI, HCGP.) …PETITIONERS ...RESPONDENT THIS CRIMINAL PETITION IS FILED UNDER SECTION 438 OF CR.P.C., PRAYING TO ENLARGE THE PETITIONERS ON BAIL IN THE EVENT OF THEIR ARREST IN CR.NO.371/2016 OF TAVAREKERE POLICE STATION, RAMANAGARA AND C.C.NO.52/2017, WHICH IS REGISTERED FOR THE OFFENCES P/U/S 506, 504, 143, 147, 149, 302 OF IPC.
THIS CRIMINAL PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petition insofar as the 1st petitioner is concerned, may be dismissed as not pressed. So far as the 2nd petitioner is concerned, anticipatory bail for a limited time may be granted, so that she may surrender before the concerned Court and participate in the proceedings.
2. The statement of the learned counsel is placed on record.
3. Petition insofar as 1st petitioner (A-2) is concerned, is dismissed as not pressed.
4. The 2nd petitioner (A-4) is granted anticipatory bail in Cr.No.371/2016 for a period of three weeks. Within the above period, she shall surrender before the concerned Court and move for regular bail. Till disposal of the regular bail petition, this order will be in force. In the event she is arrested by the respondent-I.O. within the above period, she shall be enlarged on bail on her executing a self bond for Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the likesum. She shall co-operate with the Investigating Officer during further course of investigation.
