For Petitioner : Mr.K.Thiruvengadam For Respondents : Mr.R.Rajeswaran Government Advocate - for R1 O R D E R Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the 1st respondent. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's Appeal dated 06.05.2017, within a time frame.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the appeal filed by the petitioner on 06.05.2017 has not yet been disposed of by the 1st respondent, therefore, the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the same, in accordance with law, within a time frame.
4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal dated 06.05.2017, filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a time frame.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 06.05.2017 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
