The petitioners have undertaken the work on behalf of the respondents. The petitioners submitted final bills. There is delay in disbursing the final bills. Accordingly, the petitioners have approached this Court. 2. A statement has been filed by the first respondent. It is submitted that the final bills were submitted on 30/6/2014. It is stated that there is no delay on the part of of the Chief Engineer in issuing the letter of credit. Payment will be effected on the basis of seniority.
3. In view of the above, the seniority shall be reckoned with effect from 30/6/2014 and the bill amounts shall be released to the petitioners reckoning the seniority from 30/6/2014.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
