JUDGMENT / ORDER

HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA AND THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH PRESENT THE HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI KALYAN JYOTI SENGUPTA AND THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION NO.200 OF 2014 DATED:4.8.2014 Between:
Namathullah Khan … Petitioner And Government of Telangana Rep. by its Principal Secretary Civil Supplies Department Secretariat Hyderabad and others … Respondents THE HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI KALYAN JYOTI SENGUPTA AND THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION NO.200 OF 2014 ORDER: (per the Hon’ble the Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) This public interest litigation has been filed by the petitioner asking for the following relief.
“…to issue a Writ, Order or direction, more particularly one in nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the statement of Joint Collector, Adilabad, in the various Local Newspaper/Electronic Media of Adilabad District on 24th July, 2014 as bad in law, violative of principles of natural justice and the directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in W.P. (CIVIL) No.494 of 2012, dt.23.9.2013 and consequently restrain the respondents from insisting upon the citizens holding Ration Cards of Adilabad District to produce AADHAR Cards along with Bank Account by 31st July, 2014 in view of the interim orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in W.P. (Civil) No.494 of 2012, dt.23.9.2013…”
We have understood clearly the grievance of the petitioner basically is that in violation of the interim orders passed by the Supreme Court the Collector is making statement contrary to the Order of the Supreme Court and also taking action. Learned counsel for the petitioner says that before approaching the Supreme Court, he approached this Court.
We are of the view that when an order is passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court and if it has been violated in any manner, the person aggrieved by such violation may approach the Hon’ble Supreme Court which can take care of the matter. This Court has no jurisdiction to take up the matter.
With the above observations, the writ petition is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.
Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
