This Civil Revision Petition is filed to direct learned District Munsif, Valliyur, Tirunelveli District, to dispose of R.C.O.P.No.10 of 2015, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner is the owner of the petition mentioned premises and the respondent is the tenant. The respondent agreed to pay the rent before 10th of every English Calendar month, but became very irregular in paying the rent from January 2013 to October 2015. For 34 months, the respondent did not pay the rent. Hence, the petitioner issued notice to the respondent on 13.11.2015 and the same was received by him on 16.11.2015, but he did not send any reply to the said notice / pay the arrears of rent. Therefore, the petitioner has filed R.C.O.P.No.10 of 2015 for eviction of the respondent on the ground of willful default and owner's occupation, before the District Munsif Court, Valliyur, Tirunelveli District. The said R.C.O.P. was posted for filing counter on 22.08.2016. From that date onwards, the said R.C.O.P., is being adjourned without any progress. In the circumstances, the petitioner has come out with the present Civil Revision Petition for the relief stated supra.
3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, it may be expedient to issue a direction to the learned District Munsif, Valliyur, Tirunelveli District. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed and the learned District Munsif, Valliyur, Tirunelveli District, is directed to dispose of R.C.O.P.No.10 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than 30.06.2017. No costs.
