On 4.4.2019, following orders were passed in the matter:-
"Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for and is allowed a week's time to obtain instructions and to apprise the Court with regard to nature of vacancy against which petitioner was initially appointed. It shall be specifically clarified as to whether the vacancy was substantive or short term and what was the procedure followed for such appointment.
Post as fresh, once again, on 9.4.2019."
Again on 18.4.2019, a last opportunity was given to the counsel for the petitioner to respond to the earlier order passed. Today also when the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner comes up with the prayer to adjourn the matter on the ground that petitioner is not well.
Since specific query raised by the Court is not being answered, this Court is not inclined to adjourn the matter any further. Writ petition, accordingly, is dismissed for want of prosecution.
It goes without saying that petitioner would be at liberty to file an application for recall, while answering to the specific issues raised earlier by this Court.
