JUDGMENT / ORDER

ORDER:
This writ petition is filed with the grievance that the respondents have not been releasing the petitioner’s lorry bearing registration No.AP29TB 3349.
At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Forests (AP), on instructions, submitted that to the knowledge of the respondents no lorry bearing registration No.AP29TB 3349 was seized as alleged by the petitioner.
As perusal of the cause title of the writ petition shows that the petitioner has impleaded the District Forest Officer and the Deputy Forest Officer which posts do not exist in the Forest Department. The petitioner filed a copy of the representation stated to have been made to the purported Deputy Forest Officer which was returned with the postal endorsement that no such addressee was available.
In the light of the above facts, the petitioner is permitted to make a representation to the Divisional Forest Officer concerned. If such representation is made, the Divisional Forest Officer shall consider and send an appropriate reply to the petitioner as to whether his vehicle was seized as alleged by him. The petitioner is permitted to avail further remedies if he is not satisfied with such written communication.
Subject to the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.36915 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
