It appears that petitioner's father had a sawmill licence and after his death one of the brothers apparently has been permitted to run the sawmill. Petitioners submit that there is a family dispute going on and the authorities be restraint from permitting the private respondents to operate sawmill.
Admittedly the licence to run sawmill has now been issued to one of the heirs of the deceased, who happens to be the brother of the petitioners. The licence itself is not under challenge. Merely because there is a dispute amongst family members, it would not mean that the competent authority cannot renew the sawmill licence, if it is otherwise issued as per the prevalent policy. Family dispute otherwise needs to be got resolved by approaching the appropriate forum/civil court. No interference in the writ petition is called for.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
