The petitioner has filed the present writ petition for following relief:-
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 12.11.2018 made by the petitioner".
Grievance of petitioner appears to be that although he has filed an application before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffar Nagar on 12.11.2018, which had been brought on record as Annexure-2 to the writ petition for registering an FIR on the ground that her daughter has gone missing, but no order has been passed by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffar Nagar. Hence, a prayer has been made to issue a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffar Nagar/respondent no.2 to get FIR registered and investigate the matter against the accused.
The petitioner has got an alternative remedy to file an application before the court concerned under Section 156(3) Cr.
P.C. for registering an FIR and investigating the criminal case against the accused.
This writ petition is accordingly dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
