By the present petition, petitioner is praying for expeditious disposal of Special Session Trial No. 32 of 2014, (State vs. Nagendra Yadav), arising out of Case Crime No. 125/2014 under Section 8/20 N.D.P.S. Act, Police Station Garwar, District Ballia.
This court on administrative side has already issued directions to the court below to obtain zero pendency of cases which are more than five years old. In view of directions already issued on administrative side, the trial court is expected to decide the present case which is pending since the year 2001 expeditiously without any further delay.
However, it is always open for the petitioners to move appropriate application before the court before which the matter is pending for expeditious hearing in case such an application is filed by the applicant before the court below the same shall be heard and decided within four month, if possible.
With the aforesaid, the petition is disposed of.
