Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.
The only prayer made by the applicant is that a direction be issued to the court below/Additional Sessions Judge/ Fast Track Court 1st, Jaunpur to expedite the trial of S.T. No.276 of 2016 (State vs. Rai Sahab and others) arising out of Case Crime No.236 of 2016, under Sections 147, 302, 149, 307 I.P.C., P.S.
Sureri, District Jaunpur within a stipulated period.
Considering the facts of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, the court below/Additional Sessions Judge/ Fast Track Court 1st, Jaunpur is directed to expedite the trial of S.T. No.276 of 2016 (State vs. Rai Sahab and others) arising out of Case Crime No.236 of 2016, under Sections 147, 302, 149, 307 I.P.C., P.S. Sureri, District Jaunpur in accordance with law without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
Accordingly, the present application is finally disposed of.
