Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition, reads thus:
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari, calling for the record and to quash the impugned first information report dated 28.04.2017 registered in Case Crime No. 40 of 2017, U/s 498-A, 323, 376 of I.P.C., P.S. Mahila Thana, District Baghpat. (Annexure No. 1 to this writ petition)."
Mr. Syed Ali Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that a Charge Sheet bearing no. 43 of 2017 dated 21.06.2017 has already been filed, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous. It is, however, open to the petitioners to take appropriate remedy, if they so desire and are advised, for appropriate relief.
