Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for State.
At present sole prayer of the petitioner is for mandamus directing respondent no.2 to decide application dated 24.8.2019 (Annexure-4 to the writ petition) within a period stipulated as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
The learned Standing Counsel has no objection if the application may be decided within some specific time as fixed by this Court.
Without entering into the controversy involved in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 2 to decide the application dated 24.8.2019 (Annexure-4 to the writ petition), expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before the concerned authority, in accordance with law provided there is no other legal impediment.
