This Writ Petition is filed with the grievance that respondent Nos.2 and 3 have not been supplying essential commodities to the fair price shop at Pulimamidi Village, Chegunta Mandal, Medak District, in respect of which the petitioner holds authorization, on the ground that she was selected as a member of the Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC).
A perusal of the record shows that respondent No.2 has issued notice vide J/1835/2014, dated 10-10-2014, stated to have been received by the petitioner on 23-10-2014, wherein he has called upon the petitioner to show cause why her dealership and authorization shall not be cancelled in view of her election as a member of MPTC of B.Kondapur and that in response thereto, the petitioner has submitted her explanation on 27.10.2014. In view of these facts, respondent No.2 is directed to consider the petitioner’s explanation, hold an enquiry wherein she shall be given an opportunity of being heard, take appropriate decision in the light of G.O.Ms.No.52 Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies (CS.I) Department, dated 18.12.2008, and communicate the same to the petitioner within one month from the date of receipt of this order.
Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel, WPMP.No.42162 of 2014, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
