JUDGMENT / ORDER

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.16439 of 2010 Between:
N. Venkatram Reddy PETITIONER AND 1. Union of India rep. by its Under Secretary Ministry of Home Affairs, FF Division, 1st Floor, Loknayak Bhavan, Khan Market, New Delhi-110 003, and others.
RESPONDENTS ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief – “…. To issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to sanction and pay the Freedom Fighters Pension under Central Scheme to the petitioner basing upon verification report dated 9.03.2005 and re-verification report dated 30.05.2008 on the file of 2nd respondent at an early date by declaring the action of the 1st respondent in not sanctioning and paying the Freedom Fighters Pension under Central Scheme as unjust, unreasonable and violation of Articles 14 and 16 of Constitution of India…”
When the matter is called, it is represented by Sri M. Venkatram Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, learned Assistant Solicitor General for the 1st respondent- Union of India, learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents 2 and 4, and Smt. B. Vaijayanthi, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.3 and 5 that pursuant to the interim orders dated 12.07.2007 granted by this Court in W.P.M.P.No.20706 of 2010, the Union of India by way of proceedings No.112/887/93-FF(HC), dated 12.11.2012, rejected the claim of the petitioner. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that questioning the said order W.P.No.7436 of 2012 has been filed before this Court and the same is pending.
In view of the said representation, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any shall stand closed.
