JUDGMENT / ORDER

HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY CONTEMPT CASE No.1180 of 2014 Date:07.11.2014 Between:
N.Venkata Ramana Reddy And N.Sridhar, District Collector, Ranga Reddy District.
Counsel for the petitioner: Sri M.Karuna Sagar Counsel for the respondent: GP for Revenue (Telangana State) The Court made the following:
.. Petitioner .. Respondent ORDER:
This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful disobedience of order, dated 13.092013, in Writ Petition No.26616 of 2013.
By the above-mentioned order, this Court has directed the respondent to consider the petitioner’s representations in the light of his letter, dated 03.11.2010, and the views that may be expressed by the Commissioner of Settlements, Survey and Land Records, take an appropriate decision and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. Alleging that the respondent has failed to comply with the said order, the petitioner filed this Contempt Case.
Counter-affidavit is filed by the respondent.
Learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Telangana State) has placed before the Court memo, vide Lr.No.D1/5662/2013, dated 27.08.2014, issued by the respondent to the petitioner, wherein it is stated that the dispute pertaining to Survey No.452/2 of Pupalguda Village, Rajendrangar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District is subject matter of Writ Appeal Nos.449 of 2010 and 323 of 2011 and since they are pending before this Court, at this juncture, no further course of action can be taken. He further submitted that the petitioner is also a respondent in both the said Writ Appeals.
Inasmuch as this Court has merely directed the respondent to pass an appropriate order on the petitioner’s representation without adjudicating on the rights of the petitioner, issuance of memo, dated 27.08.2014, by the respondent constitutes sufficient compliance of the order, dated 13.09.2013, passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.26616 of 2013.
In view of the above, the Contempt Case is closed, without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to contest the above- mentioned Writ Appeals.
