2. I heard Mr.N.Senthil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.S.Karthik Raja, learned counsel for the respondents and perused the entire materials available on record.
3. The plaintiff is the revision petitioner and the suit filed by him against the respondents herein in O.S.No.2 of 2014 on the file of the learned III Additional District Judge, Puducherry is for the relief of declaration and recovery of possession. According to the plaintiff the said suit was posted for defendant’s side evidence on 19.06.2015 and thereafter without any progress the aforesaid suit is pending. Hence, the plaintiff has come forward with this Civil Revision Petition for the relief stated above.
4. As the prayer sought for in this Civil Revision Petition is only to the limited extent of disposing of the suit which is of the 2014, I am inclined to allow the Civil Revision Petition. Hence, without going into the merits of the suit, which is pending from 2014 before the Learned III Additional District Judge, Puducherry, this Court by exercising its supervisory power conferred under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, issued the following direction to the Trial Court.
5. In the result, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed. The Trial Court is directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.2 of 2014, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Both parties are strictly directed to give their fullest co-operation for speedy disposal of the suit. No costs.
